When the time comes...

Masih lagi bercerita tentang team building aku. Ada 3 orang expatriate (betul ke ejaan aku ni?) yang turut serta dalam sessi aku. Dua dari India, satu dari Filipina. Kadang-kadang, kesian gak aku tengok diorang sebab most of the activities are conducted in Bahasa Melayu. Ada masanya, diorang agak terpinga-pingalah.

Seperti biasa, diorang buat hal sendiri. Makan pun sendiri. Satu hari aku join sorang expat ni. Umur dia dalam 50 lebih. Dia dari Filipina. Kita panggil dia Edward (seperti biasa, bukan nama sebenar). Aku saja la borak-borak. Tanya pasal family dia semua. Dia cakap, dia tak balik Christmas ni. Celebrate kat sini je. Anak dia ada 3 orang. Sorang anak dia duduk kat Dubai. Sorang lagi kije kat mana ntah. Aku tak berapa ingat. Terus aku teringat perbualan aku ngan sorang expat dari tempat aku. Dia pun ada 3 orang anak gak. Yang sulung kije kat hotel kat Dubai. Yang 2nd baru start kije bulan lepas and yang kecik sekali kat universiti. Aku terus tanya Edward, selalu ke dia dapat kumpul anak-beranak? Dia cakap memang jarang la. Dia selalu jumpa anak bongsu dia je. Anak sulung dia tu memang dah lama tak jumpa. Aku tanya lagi, tak sedih ke sebab jarang jumpa?

"When the time comes, your children will start their family. And you have to accept that you will be far from their life. It does not mean that they did not love you anymore, but the priority has changes. You will have to accept that. That's life."

Sayu je aku tengok muka dia masa dia cakap tu. Pandangan dia pun jauh je. Aku tak tahu la apa yang dia fikir time tu. Ter-emosional lak aku kali ni, tapi nak buat macam mana. Kata set-set "pemulihara"!

So, buat member yang masih bujang ni, hargailah masa bujang anda untuk berbakti kepada kedua orang tua. Dah tak banyak pun masa yang kita ada (esp dhpz sebab dia dah ada calon dah sekarang ni...hahaha). Kang dah kawin, dah nak kena bagi-bagi. Sekejap balik kampung sendiri, sekejap lagi balik kampung isteri pulak. Apa pun, ingatlah tanggungjawab anak lelaki pada keluarga tetap tak putus walaupun dah berumahtangga.

P/S: Sebab tu aku paling bengang bila semua benda pass kat set-set bujang. Sebab alasan takde komitmen lagi sebab tak berkeluarga. Macamlah yang bujang ni takde life (terlentang sambil menonton ASTRO juga kira life jugak ye!). Teringat balik perbualan sorang E2 ngan E1 kat tempat aku dulu.

E2: Kalau set-set kitorang ni amik cuti time cuti sekolah macam ni. boleh fahamlah. Kitorang nak bawak anak-anak gi berjalan. Yang korang ni, dah la bujang, amik cuti lama lak tu. Apahal?

E1: Korang nak bawak anak gi berjalan kan. Kes kitorang, kitorang lah anak yang nak di bawak berjalan tu!

The Memorable 4 Days

What is this course? The first time I look at its homework, I’m not sure if it would be that interesting. I even asked my friends about this course, but...ahh, I should just go for it! Maybe there is something I might obtained or gained. Or maybe, I could make some new friends. Well, I looked at the participant list from my e-mail....hmmm, none familiar. But...again, I told myself “just go and enjoy the session”.

So here I am...first day at the course. Everyone get to introduce themselves: name, job scope, expectation from this course and something unusual about yourself. Oh...what is unusual about me? Hmmm... I’m thinking, but I’m not sure what to say when my turn comes...”think, think” I told myself. Oh...my turn. So I just said my name, what I usually do at my office, I come here to learn what the course is all about and my unusual, I don’t like Panadol...ha-ha, not sure where that comes from, but there it goes, my introduction on the first day.

Well, the class...first day, “focus, focus” I said to myself. Hence, I focus and not looking to anyone in the class yet. The rule of the class: 8.30am begins, 10am break, 12.30pm lunch, 3pm break, 4.30 ends. Hmmm...nice. So the class continues till 12.30 sharp for lunch. The first lunch, “What shall I eat? With whom shall I eat? What shall I talk?” the questions mingle in my mind. Okay, I take some rice, gulai nanas, ikan masak kicap, some fruits and take my sit at an empty table.

While I enjoy my lunch alone, a person (let call this person K) came and joined me. “Hi!” K said. “Hi” I replied. Hmmm, what shall I say? 'I should just continue eating' was what I think at that time. But then K asked me “Where do you work?” and I told K where I work and the conversation continues; what you do, where you leave, where you’re staying, and ... I can’t remember anymore. Of course I also asked K some questions. But I think I should keep to myself the questions I asked K....ha-ha. Some course mate also joined us and we talk some more.

Then the class continues again till 4.30 and there goes the first day. So I went out and I met K again. To my surprised, K asked me “Where are you heading?”.”To my hotel” I reply quickly. “Could I go with you?” K asked again. “Sure, no problem” I said bluntly and I think why not since we stay at the same hotel. In my car, we continue chatting till we arrived at our hotel. At that time I notice this person, K is cute and has a very beautiful skin. So that begins the Memorable 4 Days in my life and there, my focus in the class ha-ha. The 2nd day? We continue later...

Desperate Housewives extended to 9 seasons?

EZTV : Our Ted Casablanca just broke the news that Marc Cherry told his cast and crew as much today in a surprising announcement. So, has ABC honcho Steve McPherson signed off? Are the girls onboard? And since Cherry said he would end the show earlier, why the change of heart?

Here's what inside sources are telling me...

“What Marc said today to the crew is that he would like to extend the show through season nine,” an ABC insider who was on set for the announcement tells me. “But there are no deals in place yet."

A source who works on the show tells me, "We've been talking with the studio and the network about the conceptual possibilities of additional seasons, but it's still dependent on a lot of things like cast willingness, ratings, etc." Still, "It sure seems like it could happen!"

Housewives is not yet picked up beyond its current fifth season; however, I'm told it is "highly likely" McPherson will continue the show as long as possible if the ratings stay strong.

In an otherwise bleak TV landscape, Desperate has enjoyed big ratings this season, second only to Dancing With the Stars, with an average 16 million viewers on Sunday night. (Yep, it’s even come in higher than Grey’s Anatomy.)

“There was definitely a collective sigh of relief on set,” says one insider who was there today for Cherry’s announcement. “Given the way the economy is going and how other good shows are getting canceled, I think everyone is definitely relieved to know that their jobs are safe.”

In July, Cherry told reporters: “I’ve made the decision that after seven years I will probably keel over in a hump. I love my baby; I love working with these gals, but I’m going to take it for seven years, and we’re going to get out while people still like us.”

Sources tell me Cherry’s new motivation to carry on is thanks in large part to the creative resurgence that has followed this season’s five-year time leap forward. “In a lot of ways, it’s like we are writing for a whole new show,” executive producer Bob Daily told us at the beginning of the season.

petang tadi ingat nak gi cari makanan kat Mesra Mall, lapar gila perut! mula-mula plan nak diet selepas tgk geng kerteh's elite macam bersemangat jer nak kuruskan badan. sekali tak tahan laa. pusing-pusing Mesra Mall, xde apapun yang berkenan di hati kecuali...

so, mula laa pasang plan nak makan kat luar. macam biasa, call laaa anyone yang available. irfan for sure x dinner ngan kitorg malam ni sebab dia keje and yang lain xde kat kerteh. so tinggal laa dhpz. macam biasa laa, time aku call laa, dia tengah bersiap sedia nak gi jogging.. pastu salahkan aku sebab rosakkan plan healty life dia.. cess, aku tak bersalah..

sepanjang on the way nak gi makan tu, kitorg berborak laa pasal keta : vios, city & accord. apa yang menarik masa borak-borak tu, dhpz ada cakap,

dhpz: "aku nak tengok dulu laa keta city baru tu sbb tgk kt gambar aku x minat. macam accord dulu laa, time kt gambar x lawa tp bila tgk depan mata, wow!! kau sungguh memikat!!" (ayat "sungguh memikat" tu aku ubah sket laa,supaya lbeh dramatic)
frankie: "wahhh!!patut laa x bleh buat keputusan bila tgk gambar dlm handphone tu. kalau tgk in person, mesti terpikat kan?? kan? kan? adakah dia pujaan hatimu? better jumpa, insya allah ada jodoh dengan dia. opps!! terlebih sudah"

Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi

Kisahnya bermula begini,
aku menapak ke parking lot dan sambil memicit kunci kereta mewahku, aku ternampak sebuah kereta berplat A** berdiam sepi di sebelah kereta mewahku. Fikiranku kacau - sepatutnya aku lah manusia yang paling lewat pegi kerja sebab jam dah menunjukkan kul 7.56 pagi. tetapi seperti biasa, aku tidak gusar kerana aku yakin dengan keupayaan kereta mewahku.

kembali ke cerita A**.

Lantas aku mendail HPku yang dulunya boleh dikategorikan mewah dan kedengaran "Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi" di talian. aku enjoy!! tiba-tiba makhluk tuhan yang paling TIDAK seksi menjawab talian.

Irfan: "Hello"
Frankie: "Hello, wess driver A** pegi keje dengan ko ker?"
Irfan: "Takde laaa"
Frankie: "OK, aku try call dia jap"

tuuuttttt.. aku meletakkan talian.

Aku mencapai HPku yang dulunya boleh dikategorikan mewah sekali lagi. Aku mendail no driver A**. Tiada "Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi". Hanya bunyi "tutt.. tutt... tutt". aku frust!!!

Tiada jawapan. Aku cuba sekali lagi dan sekali lagi tiada "Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi". Hanya bunyi "tutt.. tutt... tutt". aku frust lagi.

dhpz: "Hello"
Frankie: "Hello, ko bangun lagi?"
dhpz: "Baru bangun"
Frankie: "isk2, dah2 bangun2. gi keje"

Moral of the story : Pastikan anda menggunakan caller ringtone "Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi".
